Emily & Christopher – Wedding

It was a cold winter’s day in Peterborough but that didn’t stop us from capturing some hot portraits at Emily & Christopher’s wedding recently…
I love making beautiful portraits with something simple like a solitary light bulb, a dark dingy basement and a gorgeous subject:
Also, the unlikeliest of rooms can sometimes make for the best photo ops:
Bloodline Parlour in downtown Peterborough offered some very cool locations and props for the photos in the morning:
We made our way to St John’s Anglican Church to set up for the ceremony and found this cool staircase up to the bell tower:
Emily had one of the most unique bouquets I’ve seen in quite a while!
A funny moment during the ceremony preparation with the mother of the groom and the best man:
We took a *quick* stroll downtown for some more pictures. I didn’t need to pose them for this shot – they were just huddling for warmth. 😉
The lighting in this room at the newly renovated Market Hall in Peterborough made for some really cool graphic images:
After the ceremony, the bride and groom were treated to a sparkler reception in front of the church:
Trying something a little different for the speeches. Here the bride and groom embrace while listening to some loving words from the father of the bride:
One last special shot of the bride and groom before we called it a day:
It was great getting to know you both during our little winter wedding adventure. I hope you both had a fantastic day and wish you all the best in the future.
Cheers,
Michael
These are fabulous!
