I’m very excited to present Fritzie and Shawn’s engagement photos.  We recently had the fantastic opportunity to accompany them to the beautiful town of Taormina in Sicily to capture the events of their wedding celebration.

Here’s a small selection of my favourites from their engagement session a few days before the big event:

Taormina is such a picturesque little town.  There were so many colours and textures around every corner – it was tough to choose where to shoot next.  It reminded me a lot of Bellagio where we shot Doug & Jasmeena’s engagement a few years back.

Taormina is a rather busy tourist town, even in November, so it took a lot of patience (and a little Photoshop) to get this image with no tourists in the background. 🙂

When you’re having such a great time, it’s often tough to get those serious expressions…

…usually when I ask for a serious shot, I get something like this:

Of course, you can’t have a trip to Italy without trying some Gelato!
