Giovanna & Mike Engagement

Giovanna & Mike chose to have their engagement photos done in the quaint little town of Kleinburg, ON and what a great choice. We spent most of the time in Binder Twine Park near the McMichael Art Gallery then grabbed a few shots in town (despite the numerous "NO Commercial or Wedding Photography" signs)...

It's so easy to get great shots when the couple is as comfortable with each other as these two:

It was such a beautiful spring day and I had to include some of that awesome blue sky (with the help of a few secret photography tricks)!

Here's a funky "Infrared B&W" treatment for you...I really should have used my real IR camera for this, but I was lugging enough stuff around with me with the light stand, photo belt, bag, etc. and the simulated IR effect still looks pretty cool:

As Mike called it: "The rapper pose". I still think it works OK with the smiles though, and we had some sweet pre-sunset light:

A few pics at the famous Kleinburg train station:

...And here's one in front of a shop in Kleinburg (we were lucky enough to sneak a few in since most places seemed to be closed).

I can't wait for the wedding...the camera loves you two!

Michael
