Jennifer & Stu Engagement
Jennifer and Stu wanted to capture the essence of Toronto and life in the city with their engagement session. I think we accomplished that pretty well!
Here they are in the café where Stu popped the big question (cool little place called Kalendar on College St.)!:

Next we were off to Lee's Palace, a popular alternative rock venue where Stu used to play (and I believe where the two of them met...I love how we caught that musician in the background as he headed out of the place:

Luckily there was still a bit of fall foliage left outside of Osgoode Hall, which is another great spot for photos (and quite popular for weddings):

It's not very often that I go into a shoot with preplanned images in my head, but this is one I really wanted to capture as soon as Stu mentioned the theme they wanted to convey:

They had the Christmas displays set up outside of HBC early this year. The music and holiday shoppers gave the street an electricity you only get at Christmastime:

The amazing architecture of the BCE place made for a cool backdrop:

♫ Love in an elevator ♫ ...

As this may be my last post before Christmas, I'd like to wish all of my regular readers, and new readers alike, a very Merry Christmas and an amazing New Year!
I'll be sure to post more in early 2007!
Cheers,
Michael
