Kim & Marc (& Family) Engagement

I had a lot of fun working with Kim & Mark and their two great kids last week and judging from the photos, it looks like they did too! They were up for anything - climbing trees, almost getting washed away by waves, jumping off stuff, you name it. Here are a few of my favourites:

We're going to have a great time at the wedding! Looking forward to seeing you all again on the big day.

Cheers,

Michael

Sarah & Nicholas

This week we were off to McKellar ON (just north of Parry Sound) to join Sarah & Nicholas at Camp Kodiak where they spent some of their summers working with children with learning disabilities. The owners of the camp were kind enough to let Sarah & Nicholas host their wedding here which was great because I know it had a very special place in their hearts.

Here's a great moment with Sarah & Nicholas right after they finished walking back down the "aisle":

One of the very few times where anyone at the wedding was taller than Nicholas ;)

I hope you two had a safe flight back to Alberta and hope to bump into you if we're ever out that way!

Cheers,

Michael

Leilani & Andrew Engagement

Downtown Toronto is such an amazing place for portraits. There are just so many cool places to shoot - some obvious ones and also a million hidden little spots that you may have walked past a million times and never took the time to consider.

Toronto is such a diverse city, both culturally and environmentally, and I think we captured a bit of that during our session...and of course some great photos of the very attractive couple... ;)

Can't wait to see you both at the wedding!

Cheers,

Michael

Hayley & Charlie Engagement

One thing I love about these "location" engagement and portrait sessions is finding interesting spots that you may have walked by a thousand times and had never taken the time to explore. Who would have thought there'd be so many of these places in Peterborough - a city I've been to probably hundreds of times. We had great fun exploring every nook and cranny of the city and found some really cool spots:

OK, I couldn't resist. The original wall said "Dave" but I thought it looked better with "Hayley". ;)

Here are a couple of infrared shots for fun:

I can't wait for the wedding!

Cheers,

Michael

Jessica & Arjen Wedding

After a nice 3 hour country drive, Iveta and I arrived at the Gananoque Inn in a small town in the heart of the Thousand Islands.

Here's the happy bride adorning the beautiful gown she purchased in The Netherlands:

A little Infrared goodness for the ceremony:

It started to rain outside so we moved over to the lobby for some more portraits:

Trying something a bit funky with the light:

Arjen and his best man:

During a slow part of the reception, I popped outside to grab this shot of the Inn:

I hope you two had a great day and if you have any leftovers from the "Jessica & Arjen's Candy Shop" or from those 10 delicious cakes, feel free to send them off to Iveta and I. ;)

Cheers,

Michael
