Laura & Ryan - Wedding

What a fun day! Laura & Ryan had a beautiful outdoor ceremony out on the golf course at Black Diamond Golf Club as the skies opened up just in time to shine down on them for their first kiss. Later we toured around the course with a small armada of carts finding places for photos along the way (dodging the odd golf ball as we did).

Anyway, on to the photos:

We had a lot of fun with Laura's beautiful long veil:

I love moody skies and there was plenty to be had on Saturday:

It started to rain just as we popped inside for a break, so out came the video light for some indoor portraits:

I snapped this as I was walking out to my car. I loved how the moon shone through the swiftly moving clouds in this long exposure:

I hope you enjoy your romantic getaway!

Cheers,

Michael

Pamela & Jason - Wedding

If only we had this much time available at every wedding for bride and groom portraits. Pamela & Jason spent most of the day together and we had lots of opportunities to capture some awesome portraits from the morning at the house all the way to the reception.

Most of the rooms in the house were being used by guests but I love touring through and finding little nooks that make great images after moving things around a bit:

Jason was watching his beautiful bride as I was setting up a shot of her then I thought I'd pull back a bit for a slightly different perspective:

I told him to do his best James Bond and I think he got it SPOT ON!

It's going to be a fantastic album!

Cheers,

Michael

Christina & Kevin - Engagement

We started out at Lock 24 in Peterborough which was a special place for Christina & Kevin as that's where he popped the big question:

Next stop was downtown Peterborough where we found some cool new spots:

It was great working with you two and I look forward to having as much fun (or more) on the wedding day.

Cheers,

Michael

Kim & Marc - Wedding

Like they say...it's better late than never. After being together for 15 years, Kim & Marc finally tied the knot and it was very special to share the day with them and their two great (and photogenic) children.

Kim and Grace getting snuggly before they left for the church:

Here's Kim and Grace outside the church right before they walked down the aisle:

I've never seen a church quite like this before. Very rustic and unique!

The reception and formals took place at Eganridge Inn and Spa in Fenelon Falls - Lots of great photo opportunities there.

My IR camera was digging the weather that day too!

With some expert help from wedding planner Jodi Gagner of Simply Perfect, we all had a great time and I'm sure it will be a day the whole family will remember forever.

Colleen & Kevin - Wedding

What a great weekend to have back-to-back weddings - the weather was perfect 2 days in a row. Of course, it's always a good day for me when the bride looks like this:

It was a rather large wedding party so I tried some new ideas for the groups:

It was a perfect day for infrared photography:

The brand new red corvette made for a nice prop!

Something a little different for the first dance:

Thanks for letting me share your big day with you - it was an honour.
