Amberlea & Mark - Wedding

I recently had the privilege to photograph the wedding of our good friends Amberlea and Mark in the quaint little town of Terra Cotta Ontario. It was such a treat to be involved in their wedding as much as we were and to see all the details and moments of the day as only a wedding photographer can:

We couldn't have asked for a better ceremony location - great light, right along the bank of a small winding river, surrounded by trees...

Highschool sweethearts and just as in love as they were back then (if not more):

Their expressions say it all in these two images of the first dance, and I'm sure it will mean even more to Amberlea and Mark as it brings back all the emotions they were feeling during these special moments:

I hope you guys are having an amazing time in Switzerland (so jealous!) and I'll trade you these pictures for some photos of the Swiss Alps!

Cheers,

Michael

Hayley & Charlie - Wedding

After shooting Hayley & Charlie's engagement session, I knew we were going to have a great time at the wedding and I wasn't disappointed.

We got tonnes of great shots of Hayley and the girls/family in the morning:

Then it was off to the family cottage for the some relaxed formals before the ceremony:

Since they were waiting outside the golf course clubhouse for people to get settled, we figured we might as well get a few shots and include the beautiful sunset in the background:

I love this sexy moment right before they were welcomed into the reception:

Thanks to Hayley & Charlie and their fantastic families for making us feel so welcome all day.

Cheers,

Michael

Kerri & Ben - Wedding

Wow...being a photographer herself, Kerri really knew how to put together a wedding that would make my job super easy. In addition to the beautiful venue of Queen's Landing in the incredibly photogenic town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, we had some amazing weather and everything came together to make for the perfect fairytale wedding for Kerri & Ben.

A bit of an homage to Joe Buissink (celebrity wedding photographer) and his beautiful closeup Infrared portraits:

All I did was have Kerri waiting in some nice light and the rest of the magic was all theirs:

After getting a few shots inside the elegant inn, we took a fun ride in a horse and carriage into the main part of town for something different. Iveta and I just love Niagara-on-the-Lake and I knew it would make for some great images:

I could tell they put a lot of time and effort into every little detail of the reception. Vintage Design Co. did a fantastic job with the decor. Everything looked, sounded and tasted fantastic:

The grand entrance of Queen's Landing:

I hope you two enjoyed yourself as much as Iveta and I did. I can't wait for you to see the rest of the photos (it was really tough to cull them down to only 15 for the blog!).

Cheers,

Michael
