Gloria & Jack - Portraits

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Gloria & Jack as a 50th anniversary present from their son. It was quite a challenge since the main theme was to be "outdoors with the fall leaves" but luckily they scoped out the town ahead of time and found the 4 or 5 trees left that still had foliage!

Cheers,

Michael

Christina & Kevin - Wedding

I really love shooting at this time of the year. Sure it was a bit chilly and rainy part of the day, but the light was just fantastic, plus we had lots of time to create some funky light as well.

The colours inside St. Peter's Cathedral in Peterborough were amazing and were even more spectacular when the sun peaked out from behind the clouds for a brief moment:

Trent University is by far the most popular wedding venue in Peterborough in my experience and for good reason - there are so many great spots for photos.

Thanks to Sophie (a combination guest, fill-in assistant and ex-highschool acquaintance of mine) for helping me light this last one! As a new little challenge for myself, I've been trying to end all of my weddings with a "blog-worthy" shot before I pack up. It's been working well so far:

I hope you like your going-away honeymoon present! Have an awesome time in Costa Rica!

Michael
