Christine & John - Wedding

It always makes my job easier when people are having a great time and when the love they have for each other expresses itself so effortlessly as was the case at Christine & John's wedding. It was great fun to observe and capture the wonderful emotions and expressions of their close family.

Of course I had to get some photos of their two beautiful daughters:

It was a great day for an outdoor ceremony on the lake at Viamede Resort in Woodview ON:

Christine and John are avid fisher...?persons?, and they wanted some photos in their new boat. This is one of my favourites:

We got a ton of great shots of the "first dance" but there were some really touching moments during the "groom and daughter" dance as well (hardly a dry eye in the place):

I hope you all had a great day!

Cheers,

Michael

Catie & Jordan - Wedding

A great time was had by all at Catie & Jordan's wedding celebration. I overheard Catie say: "It's my dream wedding come true" at least a few times. This was quite evident in the overjoyed expressions captured throughout the day and the warm interaction between close family and friends.

Catie got things started at the quaint little "Leeanne's Country Spa" near Lakefield:

I do believe this is my first bridal portrait in a bath tub:

No, she didn't ride to the ceremony on this, but it made for a cool prop for the photo:

The guys were having an equally good time hanging out before the ceremony at Beachwood Resort. I just want to say thanks to the guys for being so cool and making my job really easy - you were definitely the most photogenic and cooperative bunch of guys I've worked with in a long time.

Despite warnings of thunderstorms, the weather turned out great for the outdoor ceremony (this shot was stitched together from 3 photos taken with my infrared camera):

We even had a bit of a rainbow during the formal photos:

Then it was time for the "intimate" photos of the bride and groom. I put that in quotes since there were about 4 dozen people behind me partying and carrying on. ;)

I hope you and your guests like these as much as you all enjoyed the engagement photos (I've never had so many guests come up to me to compliment my work at a wedding)!

Cheers,

Michael
