I was hired to come back to Grail Springs Health and Wellness Spa for some general photos of the facilities and I captured this one during an early morning stroll around the property. We didn't get around to trying the horseback riding, but we did get to feed them out of our hands, which was cool.

P.S. Check out their website at www.grailsprings.com for many more photos I captured there (about 95% of the photos are mine).

Salita Serbelloni - Bellagio

WOW, it's been over a year since I've posted anything here! Things have been really busy with the wedding business, but I hope to start posting (somewhat) regulary again...This is Salita Serbelloni in the gorgeous little town of Bellagio (considered by some to be one of the most beautiful towns in Europe) on the famous Lago di Como in Northern Italy. I was hired to photograph a wedding in the Lake Como area last year and now I know why George Clooney bought a home in the area and why Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie chose to get married there. It's definitely the most breathtakingly beautiful place I've ever seen!

Grand Central Terminal

Another image from my New York City series. I didn't have my tripod with me, but there's a very convenient concrete railing to rest your camera on inside Grand Central Terminal. I couldn't have set it up better myself, but I love how there's a couple embracing in the middle of the terminal and they're perfectly sharp while the rest of the travellers speed by in a blur. Score a point for Lady Luck there!

Manhattan Skyline

On our recent trip to NYC I was determined to get this one shot of the lower Manhattan skyline from Brooklyn. I wanted to get it from the other side of Brooklyn Bridge so I could include more of the bridge in the shot but some security guards said there wasn't any access to the park after dusk (and from the look of the area, I probably wouldn't have wanted to go there at night anyway!). This image size doesn't do the original justice. It's a 3-image stitch for a total size of 20 megapixels and the amount of detail is incredible. The absence of the twin towers has had a huge impact on the skyline and although I haven't seen the pre-9/11 skyline with my own eyes, I'm sure it stands as a stark reminder to every New Yorker of that great tragedy every time they view the empty sky where the towers once proudly stood. On that grim note...stay tuned for more images from New York, including a bunch of images from my new Infrared camera!

Old Quebec City

This was taken at the base of "Old Québec", a beautiful historic section of Québec city that makes you feel like you're walking into an old European village the moment you breach its surrounding walls. Speaking of which, Old Québec is one of only 3 walled cities in North America and is home to some of the most beautiful architecture I've witnessed in Canada. That's Chateau Frontenac in the distance and directly behind me flows the mighty St. Laurence River.

Rainbow Over Paris

What great luck! Not only did we get amazing light from the sunset during our only trip to the Arc De Trimphe, but it started to sprinkle rain just at the right time and produced a beautiful rainbow which arced over Sacré Coeur in the distance.

Peggy's Cove Boats

According to legend, Peggys' Cove was named after the only survivor of a schooner that ran aground and sank in 1800...a woman named Margret. Local folk called her "Peggy" and her home came to be known as Peggy's Cove.

Eiffel Tower from the Arc
Here's yet another view from the top of the Arc de Triomphe. It's really a sight to behold at night when the double 6000 watt xenon beams stretch across the sky to be seen as far as 80 kilometers away, not to mention the 20,000 additional sparkling lights recently installed to add to the 350 high pressure sodium lamps which give it its golden colour.

Toronto From Above

The view from the Space Deck in Toronto's CN Tower (the smaller observation deck near the top of the tower). This is what Toronto's downtown core looks like from 1465 feet up the 1815.5 foot CN Tower. We took the elevator rather than the 2579 stairs, even though it only took Brendan Keenoy a record time of 7 minutes and 52 seconds to climb them all. I love all the little details you can pick out from this height. This is a panoramic stitch of 3 vertical 4MP images and the detail in the original is incredible but I'd love to return and try again with my 12.8 MP 5D instead of my 4MP point-n-shoot and print it up at 20x30!
My parents own a log home company called [Colonial Concepts Log Homes](http://www.colonialconcepts.com) and in my spare time I do most of their marketing materials including the photography. Not such a bad job travelling all over Ontario photographing some of the most beautiful log homes you'll ever see! Check out their website for more photos I've done for them: [www.colonialconcepts.com](http://www.colonialconcepts.com)
